Portable Turbo Pump Station


 

A compact portable turbomolecular pump station was constructed

Compact turbo station in pelican 1400 case, runs off of 24V wall adapter. Internal DC-DC converter allows operation from 6-36V allowing operation on battery power. Station uses a KNF N84.4 diaphragm pump, and pfeiffer Splitflow 80 hybrid turbo/molecular drag pump, with a 70L/s pumping rate. It is equivalent to the TPH-071P but also equipped with a differential pumping port for mass spec operation, which is currently plugged. Turbo has 2.75" CF flange (metric threads) with a NW16 adapter and blank-off.
